Wulterkens, Margaret A.

Margaret A. Wulterkens, age 84, of Combined Locks, passed away, Wednesday, February 13, 2008. She was born July 1, 1923, to the late Roy and Elizabeth (Griesbach) Schmit, in the Town of Ellington and following her marriage moved to Combined Locks. Margaret had been employed by Kimberly-Clark Corporation for many years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and attending all family functions. When she was in her 20's Margaret and two sisters went on a three month trip to Europe following World War II. Margaret was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Combined Locks. She is survived by three sisters, LaVerne Biese, Como, TX; Patricia Sullivan, Greenville; Donna Mae (Melvin) Koehler, Como, TX; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, a sister, Florence (Ambrose) Vandenberg, a brother, Charles (Grace) Schmit and a brother-in-law, Garrett Sullivan. The funeral liturgy for Margaret will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 16, 2008, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 410 East Wallace Street, Combined Locks, with Father Jim Lucas officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 am Saturday, until the time of the mass. A memorial fund is being established.
