Marcia Lee Lynch

Marcia Lee Lynch, age 75, died in her home on February 7, 2025. She was born on April 27, 1949, to parents Arthur and Elizabeth “Betty” (Burns) Lauer in Minneapolis, MN. She was raised in the Fox Valley area, graduating from Kaukauna High. Following her schooling she worked for and received her LPN. She returned to school and received her certificate for dental hygiene the same year Erin graduated from high school. Eventually she returned to her LPN roots and worked in home health care.

Marcia enjoyed reading-and would literally read anything she could. She loved to travel, and during her dental hygienist career, travelled to the Dominican Republic to assist with dental care there. She loved the transformational message inherent in the butterfly-it meshed so well with the transformational message of the Gospel which was so important to her.

Marcia is survived by her children: Erin Barrington, Megan (Todd) Gillingham, and Kevin Lynch; grandchildren: Alex, Raquel, Tim, Kyle, Emily, Haylie, Kendra, Noah and Carson; and step-daughter Courtney Lynch. In addition, she is survived by her siblings: David, Dennis, Dick, Kathy, Karen (Dan), Lynn (Frank), Mary Beth (Leon), Bob (Joannie) and Sara (Greg); as well as numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Art and Betty Lauer, sisters-in-law: Terri and Nancy Lauer; nephew Arthur Kenneth Lauer; and former husband Mike Lynch.

A funeral mass will take place on Saturday February 15, 2025, at 11:00am at St Katharine Drexel Parish-St Mary Site, 119 W 7th Street, Kaukauna. Friends and family may gather at the church from 9:00am until mass begins. Marcia will be interred at St Mary’s Cemetery.
