Marcie loved to garden and began gardening a huge space where Marcie and Frank grew raspberries, rhubarb, and every vegetable you can imagine. Marcie was also a fan of dahlias, marigolds, gladiolas, and moss roses in the garden as well. Marcie’s green thumb was prolific, and she also grew lilies of the valley and tulips.
Frank and Marcie loved to dance, and she especially enjoyed listening to polka music on Sunday mornings right before mass time. Marcie was a mean sheepshead player and played almost nightly with her friends Ken and Marv who would give her a ride to the game, feed her, take her money, and take her back home!
When Frank died in 1968, Marcie not only learned how to drive but started a career as a housecleaner and nanny. She developed wonderful relationships with the families she served. In 1975 Marcie married Clarence Schwahn who died in 2005.
Marcie is survived by her children Marliyn (Michael) Process and Jeff (Jane) Luebke; grandchildren: Shannon (Jeremy) Process and Erica (Phil) Bauer-Yingling; great grandchildren Benjamin, Anthony, Vaughn, Wyatt, Marshall, Ashcher and Cooper.
