Marcella T. Peterson

Marcella T. Peterson of Menasha passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at the age of 95. Marcella was born on August 31, 1927, the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Bayer) Muehlenbein. 

 

She graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School and was a lifelong member of St. Mary Parish in Menasha where she volunteered many hours throughout her life.

 

Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Peterson; loving mother of Dave (Patti) Peterson, Dan (Lisa) Peterson, Roxy (Kevin) Lassig and Kevin (Ellen) Peterson; cherished grandmother of Brian (Melody), Steve (Alexandra) and Greg Peterson; Michelle (Steven) Thorsell, Trevor and Ben Lassig; Nicole (Jermaine) Hickman and Grace Peterson; Keira and Zach Peterson; and proud great-grandmother of Sofia Peterson.

 

Marcella loved to travel all over the world with her beloved husband Lloyd.  Her favorite trips were an African safari and visiting Australia. She was an avid crafter, making beautiful quilts and wall hangings for her family. Marcella also was proud to be a Green Bay Packer season ticket holder.

 

Marcella worked at Marathon Corporation and at DiRenzo & Bomier Agency.

 

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Peabody Manor for the loving care extended to Marcella.

 

Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel, 1592 South Oneida Street, Appleton. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
