Lynn Lucille Kiefer passed away August 17, 2022. She was born October 27, 1951 in Appleton, Wisconsin, and was the devoted daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy (Schumacher) Kiefer. Lynn is survived by David (Ellen) Kiefer, Donna (Terry) Van de Vyvere, Michael Kiefer, Janet (Peter) Gilbertson and a sister-in-law, Sanae (Juri) Kiefer. Lynn was also survived by 17 nieces and nephews, 10 grandnieces and nephews, and many other family members and close friends.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, her partner Daniel De Groot, her brothers James Kiefer and Ronald Kiefer and her sister-in-law Suzanne (Kiefer) Rosenburg.
Lynn was a 1969 graduate of St. Mary’s High School, Menasha, Wisconsin. She had a lifelong career in the banking industry, beginning as a teller when she was still in high school until she retired as a systems upgrade specialist in 2012.
Lynn was very passionate about animals. She cared deeply about Sadie and Molly, her two labradoodles. She also loved traveling with her family and friends and was an avid Packer fan.
The funeral liturgy for Lynn will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 26, 2022, at St. John – Sacred Heart Church, located at N369 Military Road in Sherwood. Fr. Michael Betley will officiate, and interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather directly at the church on Friday morning from 9:00 AM until the hour of the service.
