LyAnn M. Beatty, age 67, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2021 at Appleton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
LyAnn was born in Neenah, WI to Robert F. Beatty and Mary R. Laus on July 14, 1953. She graduated from Menasha High School in 1971. After graduating, she began working for Banta Corporation until she started her family. After raising her three children, she returned to the workforce. LyAnn completed her career at the Outagamie County Clerk of Courts office after 20 years, retiring in 2016.
LyAnn is survived by her loving children Lisa (Steve) VanDomelen, Ashlee Mereness and Christopher Mereness, sister Theresa Beatty, sister-in-law Debbie Beatty, grandchildren, Mason VanDomelen and Brooklyn VanDomelen, her precious furbaby Paisley, and grand-furbabies Bailee and Pippa.
LyAnn is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mary, brother David – January 7th, 2021, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and three furbabies; Charlie, Chablis and Tuscani.
LyAnn’s proudest achievement was raising her children. She enjoyed cooking, reading, had the gift of gab, and was an avid animal lover. In her later years, one of her greatest enjoyments was spending time with the ones who loved her.
Funeral services for LyAnn will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Wichmann Funeral Home Tri County Chapel, 1592 Oneida Street with Deacon Don Schultz of St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha, officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of services. Private interment at a later date.
