Luella L. Steinbach

Luella Steinbach, age 95 of Kaukauna, went to her heavenly home on January 28, 2021.

She was born January 2, 1926 in the town of Brillion, to the late Herman and Anna (Greve) Jandrey.  Luella graduated from Brillion High School in 1943 and worked at Brillion Iron Works until her marriage to Harold Steinbach on October 20, 1945 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion.  She was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Kaukauna since 1951 and was a member of the Women’s Aid Society.  Luella was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include a son Wayne (Nancy) Steinbach of Burke, Virginia; a daughter: Margie (Joseph) Olejniczak of Greenleaf; two granddaughters: Anne (David) Eldridge and Elizabeth (Kevin Palmer) Steinbach; two grandsons: Brian (Jo-ann) Olejniczak and Trevor (Jessica) Olejniczak; three great grandsons:  Henry Eldridge, Jason Olejniczak, and Cody Olejniczak; five great-granddaughters  Hannah Eldridge, Nora Eldridge, Violet Palmer, Kelsie Olejniczak and Alena Olejniczak; a sister-in-law: Rosemary Jandrey; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Harold, sisters  Elvira Koerth, Bernice (Harold) Schultz, and Arlene (Eugene) Keller; brothers:  Elroy (Alice) Jandrey, Harold (Joyce) Jandrey, and Victor (Vivian) Jandrey;  and a sister-in-law: Evelyn (Lester) Wolf.

The Christian Funeral Service for Luella will be held at 11:00 AM  on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 804 Grignon Street in Kaukauna, with Rev. Mike Gehl officiating.  Visitation will be held at church from 10:00 Am until the time of the service.  If you plan to attend, masks and social distancing will be required.  For those not able to attend, the service will be livestreamed at this page at the time of the service.  She will be laid to rest with Harold, at Appleton Highland Memorial Park.
