Lucina Ann Jandrey-Kerkhoff

Lucina A. Jandrey-Kerkhoff, age 95, of Kaukauna, WI passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at St. Paul Villa in Kaukauna.

Lucina was born on July 15, 1922 to Cornelius and Harriet (Jansen) Hartjes. She grew up in the big house in Combined Locks, where she lived her young life and went to school. In June of 1949 she married the love of her life, Myron P. Kerkhoff. Together they had three children; Nancy, Roger, and Gary. They had many wonderful years together until Myron died in 1972. In June of 1976, she married the second love of her life, Lawrence Jandrey. Together they raised her three children and Lawrence’s 4 children together.

She loved to cook and bake with her sister. They would cook and bake for weddings and banquets every chance they could. Lucina also loved reading, fishing and spending lots of time with her grandchildren. She was arguably the best mother and mother-in-law in the world. She will be missed deeply by those who knew her.

Lucina is preceded in death by her first husband, Myron Kerkhoff; her second husband, Lawrence Jandrey; her parents, Cornelius and Harriet, along with her 11 siblings; and three in-laws Ruth, Giles and Elmer.

She is survived by her children, Nancy (Dan) Appleton, Roger (Kathie) Kerkhoff, and Gary (Ginger) Kerkhoff; her step-children, Larry Jandrey Jr., Ron (Kaye) Jandrey, Tim (Janine) Jandrey, and Bruce Jandrey; her eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; sisters-in-law, Marie, and Rose; brothers-in-law, Elmer and Giles; her special friend Eileen, and many other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Holy Spirit Parish -Kimberly Site, 600 East Kimberly Ave. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass directly at the church. Burial will be at St Paul Cemetery in Wrightstown, WI.

The family of Lucina would like to thank the staff at St. Paul Villa especially: Sabrena, Linda, Trish, Sandy and DJ for the wonderful care and kindness they showed Lucina, you touched her heart in so many wonderful ways. A special thank you to Deacon Don for providing her with comfort in her last hours. Lucina’s family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the St. Paul Hospice staff for their compassion and support through this difficult time.
