Lucas Allen Wilz, age 18, of Marshall, Wisconsin, passed away on October 4, 2022. Lucas was born on October 29, 2003, in Appleton to Richard A. Wilz and Jeannine M. Wilz. During High School and after graduation, he worked at Little Amerricka in Marshall, Wisconsin. Lucas was a kind and caring young man who was sensitive, but also wise beyond his years. He loved his family and was protective of his mom and his siblings. He enjoyed the outdoors, pitching in to help, and loved to help his grandma with yardwork. He enjoyed decorating his room and used LED lights artistically. He also used his artistic nature to help him draw beautiful pictures. At times he could be a goofball and loved to make people laugh.
He will be loved forever by his mom Jeannine (Jansen) Wilz (special friend Carl Francis); his father Richard Wilz, (special friend Tasha Royals); siblings Rick Wilz, Jr. (fiancé Jolene), Jeremy Wilz, (special friend Fartun) and Paige Wilz; step-siblings, Gina, Grace, Austin, and Kessie, Killian and McKade; Aunt Michelle and Aunt Lisa; nephew Trevor; maternal grandparents, Jim Jansen and Rosie (Mader) Rohm; paternal grandparents, Richard Wilz and Eleanor Bol; paternal great-grandmother, Vivian Wilz, as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carol Jansen and Gary Rohm; as well as his Uncle, Jamie Jansen.
There will be a gathering in Celebration of Lucas’ Life on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Wichmann Funeral Homes, Jansen Fargo Funeral Home in Kimberly from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. For more information and to express condolences, please visit www.wichmannfuneralhomes.com.
