Lori Roehl, age 61 of Menasha, passed away on Thursday morning, December 14, 2017. Lori was born in Appleton on April 30, 1956, daughter of the late Joyce (Lueders) and Eugene Roehl who resides in Menasha. Lori worked for various employers as an office clerk and also was an Avon distributor. She had a passion for all things related to Japan, and as a young woman had hopes of serving as a missionary there someday. For years, she enjoyed the company of her dove, Peetie.
Lori is survived by her father: Eugene Roehl of Menasha; a daughter: Sheila Ramirez of Neenah; three grandchildren: Jacob, Selena, and Ben; a brother: David (Becky) Roehl of Racine, and two sisters: Paula Word of Austin, TX and Julie (Dan) Parker of Hortonville. Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Roehl.
The Christian Funeral Service for Lori will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 829 Appleton Road in Menasha, with Rev. Phil Hunter officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the church on Monday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for the International Student Program at Fox Valley Lutheran High School.
