Age 90, passed away July 12, 2002, with family, friends and a wonderful staff at Alterra Wynwood, Appleton. She was born April 29, 1912, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Freese, in Port Washington, where she grew up and attended high school. Loretta married Fred J. Jungers on April 13, 1936. She was a past president of the Christian Mothers of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Loretta loved cooking, which she also did while employed at the Sales and Marketing Center of Kimberly Clark.

Survivors include her husband, Fred J. Jungers, to whom she had been married for 66 years; four children, Bob and JoAnne Jungers, Texas; John and Phyllis Jungers, Appleton; Fred and Joan Jungers, Mequon, WI; Mary Damrow and her fiancé, Rudy Henson, California; 12 grandchildren, Mike (Debbie) Jungers, Karin Jungers, Aileen (Lionel) Menchaca, Kari (Tim) Plass, Paul (Elizabeth) Jungers, Kate (Carl) Jackson, Mark (Jeanette) Jungers, Lisa Jungers, Ann Jungers, Keith (April) Damrow, Rob (Lisa) Damrow, Vikki (Gary) Hall; 12 great grandchildren, Shelby, Matthew, Sam, Ben, Serena, Sadie, Cameron, Sidney, Robert, Jacob, Brady and Tiffany. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

The Parish Prayer Service for Loretta will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 14, 2002, at the funeral home, with Deacon Mark Farrell officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 11:00 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the local chapter of, Alzheimer’s Association, 2900 Curry Lane, Suite A, Green Bay, WI 54311.
