Age 75, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2002 at Franciscan Care Center. Loretta was born on November 24, 1926, daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Barron) Grimmer. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Verna Wendt; her 2 sons, Edward (Judith) Millizer; Bob Millizer; her sister, Gertrude; 5 grandchildren, Pamela; Amy; Paula; Bill; Jennifer; and 3 Great-Grandchildren, Damon; Brittany; and Ethan. Loretta is further survived by nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Bob and Harry Grimmer; and her sister, Florence. Loretta’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 2, 2002, at OUR SAVIOUR’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3009 North Meade Street, Appleton, with Rev. Dennis E. Ellisen officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, February 1 from 4 – 7 p.m., and again at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The family wishes to thank the staff at Franciscan Care Center for their loving care of Loretta.
