Loretta A. Ploederl

Age 89 passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, April 29, 2003. Loretta was born in Johnsburg, Minnesota on April 11, 1914, daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Stephani) Krebsbach. Loretta married Louis Ploederl on November 13, 1945 in Edgar, Wisconsin. Louis preceded her in death on January 16, 1982.

Loretta enjoyed gardening, walking, reading, and her cat Snoopy, but her greatest joys in life came from spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren.

She is survived by four children: Mary (Don) Langenkamp of Green Bay; Phyllis (James) Zeman of Appleton; Louise Ploederl of Kaukauna; John (Karen) Ploederl of Kaukauna; nine grandchildren: Lisa Langenkamp and her special friend Scott, Kristina Langenkamp, Jeffrey Langenkamp, Melissa Zeman and her special friend Kevin, Paul Zeman, Elizabeth Zeman, Shannon Ploederl and her fiancé Ryan, Jeremy Ploederl and his special friend Brenda, Mandy Ploederl and her special friend Jeremy. She is also survived by two sisters: Jeanette Guralski of Athens and Mildred (Robert) Wilichowski of Marathon; two brothers: Urban (Ann) Krebsbach of Edgar and Raymond (Melanie) Krebsbach of Colby; four sisters-in-law: Marie Krebsbach of Edgar, Marion Ploederl of Appleton, Marcella Jansen of Little Chute, and Alice Ploederl of Antigo; a brother-in-law: John (Mary) Ploederl of Kimberly, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Elizabeth and Isabelle Krebsbach, brothers Alfred (Josephine) Krebsbach and Edmund Krebsbach, brothers-in-law Joseph Ploederl and Harry Ploederl; and sisters-in-law: Gladys (Joseph) Novy and Theresa (Ted) Dzwoniarski.

The funeral liturgy for Loretta will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 3, 2003 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna with Fr. John Bergstadt officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 5 – 7 PM and again at the church on Saturday from 9 AM until the hour of the services.
