Lois Norma Prosser 92, passed away on Thursday August 24, 2023 as a resident of Prairie Home Assisted Living in Menasha. Wi. Lois was born in Menasha on June 14, 1931. Her family were long standing members on The Congregational United Church of Christ in Neenah where she was baptized and remained an active member until she died.
She was predeceased by her parents David and Blanche Prosser, brother David (Gladys) Prosser.
Lois enjoyed working with children as she was a private nurse for infant care for 20 years. She also worked at several major department stores in both the Milwaukee and Neenah/ Menasha areas until she retired.
Following retirement, she devoted several years to caring for her e mother Blanche. She is further survived by cousins Joseph (Marie) McAllister of Campbellsport, Wi., Haven (Paula) Ready of Surprise, Az., Ms Gail Prudhomme (the late Dennis) of Niagara, Wi. and Jerry Occhietti of Norway, Mi.
She will be missed by a long list of friends especially specially those of her church where she was one of the oldest active members.
The family would also like to express their thanks and appreciation to her loving care givers Cindy Hoffman and Marilyn Kostrzak. They would also like to acknowledge to all of the staff at Prairie Home /Joy House for the thoughtful and kind assisted living and hospice care that they gave her.
Visitation will take place on Monday Sept. 11th at The Congregational United Church of Christ 1511 Nicolet Blvd. Neenah, Wi. From 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. followed by a memorial church service conducted by Paster Jeannie Dougles.
Final interment will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery 1206 CTH-O, Neenah, Wi.
