Lois M. Kliefoth, age 81, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2005, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born October 20, 1923, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Theodore R. and Richie (Drall) Neuman. Lois was a graduate of Appleton High School and was employed at the former Wisconsin Telephone Company. On March 30, 1946, she was united in marriage to Charles F. Kliefoth at First English Lutheran Church, Appleton. He survives.

Lois was a homemaker and mother, and was a life-long member of First English Lutheran Church. She was truly a “team mom”, having attended and being supportive of her sons’ athletic events.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Kliefoth, of Appleton; two sons, Peter (Marta) Kliefoth and Christopher Kliefoth, both of Tampa, Fla.; five grandchildren, Cara Kliefoth, of Atlanta, Georgia, Lindsay, Chelsea, and Brandon Kliefoth, all of Philadelphia, Penn., and Dylan Smith, of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Nancy (Robert) Smith, of Dousman, Wisc., and brother-in-law, Owen Wildenburg, of Appleton.
Lois was preceded in death by a son, Richard C. Kliefoth, and a sister, Joyce Wildenburg.

Funeral services for Lois Kliefoth will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, February 13, 2005, at FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 326 East North Street, Appleton. The Rev. David Lyle will officiate. Interment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. Saturday (Today) at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 North Superior St., and again from noon Sunday until the time of services directly at the church.
