Lois M. (Koenig) Finnegan

Age 74, formerly of Kaukauna, passed away on April 14, 2008 at Lakeview Manor Nursing Home in Weyauwega.

She was born on October 22, 1933 in West DePere, WI, the daughter of the late Louis and Blanche (Farrell) Koenig.

Lois graduated from West DePere High School, class of 1951. On August 4, 1956 Lois was united in marriage to Patrick H. Finnegan. After living in the Madison and Milwaukee areas until 1961, they moved to Kaukauna, where they resided for 42 years.

She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, and a former member of the Kaukauna Ladies Elks Club and Fox Valley Country Club. Lois enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping, Packer games, golfing, and traveling.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Patrick Finnegan, her four children: Lynn (Gary) Janssen of Waupaca, Kevin of Minneapolis, MN, Tim of Courtlandt Manor, NY, and Sandy (Dan) Allen of Memphis, TN. She is further survived by her brother, Donald (Rosemary) Koenig of Green Bay, her six grandchildren: Scott (Laura) Janssen, Sarah (Jake) Adams, Davis and Griffin Allen, Nick and Mitchell Finnegan, her two great grandchildren, Logan Janssen and Maliyah Adams, and her three nieces: Karen Nier, Sheri Prosser, Terry Lee LaVoilet, and her nephew, Mark Koenig.

The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at St. Katharine Drexel-St. Francis Site (433 County Road CE, Hollandtown) with Rev. Willard Van De Loo officiating. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 2:30 P.M. Interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Hollandtown. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.

The Finnegan family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at Lakeview Manor for their loving and compassionate care of Lois, and the support they offered us during this difficult time. We also would like to express our gratitude to Cindy, Tina, Marie, Pastor Jordan and Sarah from Theda Care at Home Hospice.
