Lisa M. Gerrits

October 20, 1964 — August 13, 2018

Lisa Marie Gerrits, age 53 died peacefully with her family at her side on Monday August 13th 2018. Lisa was born in Fond du lac Wisconsin to Urban and Gretchen Gerrits. She proudly graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay in Environmental Science and worked for Schneider National for 22 years.

Lisa currently resided in Seymour WI and shared her passion for life with all she met. Her joy for life was contagious and blossomed in her talents as an artist and a Chef. She was known by others through her constant curiosity, quick wit and daily “God Moments”.

Lisa is survived and remembered by her daughter Jessica K. Johnson, her parents, brother Brian (Peggy) Gerrits and her special niece and nephews, Lilly, Joe and Timmy Gerrits. Her infectious smile and generous heart is remembered by extended family, many friends and co-workers.

The memorial service for Lisa will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Wichmann Funeral Home (537 N. Superior St., Appleton). Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Lisa’s name.

Thank you to all Lisa’s Angels who supported her through her journey. A special thank you to Dr. Yao and Alicia, to Theda Care Hospice, especially, Sarah, Emily, Nikki and Karin.
