Linda L. Johnson

In loving memory of Linda L. Johnson, age 70 of Appleton, WI who passed away on March 19, 2024.  She was born to Eugene and Delores (Hauser) Schreiter on September 21, 1953 in Appleton, WI.  Linda graduated from Appleton East High School with the class of ’72.  She was hard working with a strong work ethic and was a long-term, dedicated employee for Rayovac throughout most of her life until their closing.  After that, she continued her career at Fleet Farm’s Distribution Center until her retirement.  

Linda was a straightforward woman who was never afraid to speak her mind.  She was also a very neat and tidy person with a place for everything and everything in its place.  Linda loved cats, especially her cat, Lacey, who she treated like family.  You could often find Linda out at supper clubs, enjoying a nice meal and a few cocktails with her special friends.  She also really liked spoiling her son and grandson.   More than anything else, she loved family get-togethers and cherished those moments.  

Linda will be deeply missed by her son, Eric; her grandson, Jordon; her siblings, Michael (Melodie), Gary, Debbie (Tim), and Dan; her beloved cat, Lacey; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.  

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Delores.

A memorial visitation will be held for Linda from 3-4 PM on Thursday, April 4 at Wichmann Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St, Menasha, WI 54914 with a memorial service to follow at 4 PM.  Linda will be laid to rest at Highland Memorial Park at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Fox Valley Humane Association in honor of Linda using the link below.
