KRUEGER, LILY ANNA
Lily A. Krueger, age 87, was born into eternal life on November 12, 2008, at her home, with her husband at her side. Lily was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 25, 1921, to the late Charles and Grace (Rossman) Kuphall. On February 28, 1942, she married Herbert W. Krueger at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, WI. Their marriage was blessed with four children, James, Joan, Patricia and Herbert Jr., of whom she was so proud. Herb and Lily lived in the Milwaukee, WI area until 1962 when they moved to Appleton, WI. Lily was a devoted and loving wife to Herb and was a tremendous help and support to her husband during his career at AAL. Lily was a long-time member of Mount Olive Ev. Lutheran Church where she served on the Altar Guild and Ladies Aid. Lily is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Herbert Krueger; children Joan Bauer, Patricia Krueger and Herbert (Judy) Krueger Jr; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Krueger, her grandchildren, Ken (Amy) Krueger, Kelly (Bill) Kruepke, Kristin (Chris) Schumacher, Jim (Melissa) Krueger, Jason (Cory) Krueger, Christopher (Jennifer) Winter, Jodie Winter, Andrea (Alex) Brogle, Jeff Bauer, Jennifer (John) Eberhardt, John (Heidi) Bauer, Julie (Mark) Luther, Lisa (David) Merkel, Lori (George) Chapes, Bret Hooyman, Kara (Brian) Sichi, Dana Krueger, Andrew Krueger and Christopher Krueger; and 25 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brothers, Paul Kuphall and Charles Kuphall and her brother-in-law Ray Dorn. Lily was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Cheryl Krueger; Herb's parents, Henry and Ella Krueger; her sister Violet Dorn; her sister Dela (Marvin) Becker; her brother Fred (Harriet) Kuphall; her sister-in-law Angie Kuphall; her sister-in-law Betty Kuphall; her brother-in-law Henry (Mary) Krueger; her brother-in-law Lester (Mary) Krueger; and her sister-in-law Ruth (Robert) Rea. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2008, at MOUNT OLIVE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 930 East Florida Avenue, Appleton, with Rev. Robert Raasch officiating. Friends may call directly at Mount Olive Ev. Lutheran Church on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mount Olive Ev. Lutheran Church, Fox Valley Lutheran High School or the Time of Grace Ministry.
