Lillian Minnie Schultz, 90, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010 at the Rennes Health Care Center. Lillian was born on December 5, 1919 in Britton, SD to the late William and Ida (Woehler) Presteen. She married Wilmer Schultz on October 21, 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1965. Lillian worked at the Fox River Knitting Mills for 27 years and the Peoples Laundry and H.C. Prange for several years. Lillian enjoyed playing dart ball on a church league and she also was an avid bowler and bowled for many years on a team at Super Bowl. Lillian was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed walking, spending time with family and peanut butter cookies. Lillian is survived by her sister Juanita (Ernest) Hein of Appleton, a brother–in-law Lloyd Ellefson of Appleton, and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Lillian was preceded in death by her brothers, Lawrence Presteen and Melvin Presteen, and sisters; Evelyn Krueger, Irene Presteen, Loraine LeMoine, Eva Ellefson, and Helen Hein.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 7 PM at the Wichmann Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Waack officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 PM until the time of services at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church (302 N. Morrison St. Appleton, 54911).
