CHRISTIE, LESTER H. “LES”

Lester Christie, of Fremont, age 67 years, died on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born January 27, 1940 in Fond du Lac, the son of the late Harold and Helen (Bohlman) Christie. Les was a sheet metal journeyman at Kimberly Clark for 27 years, retiring on April 4, 2000. He was a Boy Scout leader and member of the Lion’s Club in Kiel. Les enjoyed bowling and fishing. He was a hard worker and always ready to help family and friends. Many will remember him by all the jokes he loved to play on others.

He is survived by his children: Darin (Debbie) Christie, Darboy; Steve (Laura) Christie, Oshkosh; Kelly (Randy) Evenson, Appleton and Mark Christie, Little Chute; grandchildren: Jason (Ellen), Seth, Kelsey and Kailey Christie; Logan Evenson; Dana and Brandon Christie.

The funeral service for Les will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, May 11, 2007 at JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Virgil Hanson officiating. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Fremont. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
