Leona W. Wolf

Age 95, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 12, 2001 at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center. Leona was born in the town of Maple Grove on April 22, 1906, daughter of the late Fred and Ida (Engel) Ebert. On November 24, 1927, she married Edgar Wolf in Reedsville. Leona farmed in Brillion for many years with her husband Edgar, and also enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, and was well known for the produce she sold in the area. Everyone she knew enjoyed her telling stories of her younger years and the simpler times. She was also a longtime and faithful member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion.

Survivors include seven children: Verdayne (Claude) Meyer of Sheboygan Falls, Verl (Ginny) Wolf of Muskego, Marcia (Roger) Kasten of DePere, DuWayne (Shirley) Wolf of Kaukauna, Judy (George) Rilidas of Westminster, California, Lana (Willard) Krueger of Brillion, and Shelby (Jim) Sloma of Sheboygan Falls; a daughter-in-law: Mary Wolf of Largo, Florida; twenty seven grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, future triplets, two sisters: Lorraine (Elroy) Brandes and Rosella Grams; many nieces and nephews; two brothers-in-law: Eugene Wolf and Ralph Brandes. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar in January 1, 1987, a son Clarmont, a great-granddaughter Karissa, three brothers, and four sisters.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 15, 2001 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion with Rev. David Rockhoff officiating. Interment was in the Brillion Town Cemetery.
