Leona B. (Timm) Rohm, age 83, died at Appleton Medical Center on Saturday, December 2, 2006. Leona was born on May 30, 1923, in Indian Gap, Texas, to the late Charles and Ida (Tieman) Timm. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Leona met her husband, Glenn, while he was serving in the United States Air Force; they moved to Wisconsin in 1946. Leona was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan and also enjoyed bowling in her “Four For Fun” league for over 50 years. Survivors include her husband of 61 years Glenn; her children, Richard and Colette Rohm, Rebecca and Francis Balistreri; Linda and Joel VanBommel; Paul and Rhonda Rohm; her daughter-in-law, Jo Rohm; her grandchildren, Amy and Alan Reger, Emily and Tom Gilmore, Sarah and Ron Saari, Carrie Rohm and Lucas VanBommel; her great grandson, Jackson Arthur Saari; her brothers and sisters, Milton Timm, Dorse Wilkinson, Charles Timm, Ida Smith, Vernon Timm and Henry Timm. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her sons, Arthur and Charles Rohm; her granddaughter Rachel Rohm; and her sister Susie Matthews. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2006, at ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 912 North Oneida Street, Appleton, Wisconsin, with Rev. Larry Matthews officiating. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Appleton, on Wednesday, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial has been established in her name.
