Age 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 27, 2006. He was born in Appleton on September 16, 1939, son of the late Lawrence and Gladys (Hove) Heegeman. Larry was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corp. Larry was employed as a truck driver for over 30 years at Riverside Paper Corporation. He enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers on T.V., playing baseball, bowling, golf and playing cards with his grandchildren and his friends at Jerry Kamps.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelley (Andrew) Goede of Franklin, WI; grandchildren: Jensen, Reed, Cooper and Reagan; and sisters: Carol (Bill) Marquardt and Sister Betty Ann Heegeman, O.P. He is further survived by a niece, four nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his infant daughters, Margaret and Mary Heegeman.

The funeral liturgy will be at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2006, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 419 E. Wallace St., Combined Locks. Friends will be received at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the liturgy. The burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Larry’s name to benefit his grandchildren’s education.
