“Larry”
Appleton
Age 84, passed away in Appleton on Wednesday, August 6, 2003. He was born on March 23, 1919, in Clintonville, son of the late Julius and Margaret (Freeborn) Norman. He lived in Clintonville until the age of 12 and then moved to Milwaukee. Larry proudly served in the United States Army for six years. In Appleton he married Hazel Wundrow on October 23, 1955. They enjoyed 47 years of marriage. Larry worked most of his life in printing. He worked 20 years until his retirement at Valley Press.
Larry is survived by his wife Hazel, daughter, Kitty (Virgil) Miller, two grandsons: Michael and Kevin, all of Topeka, KS; five great grandsons: David, Eric, Blake and Justin and Matthew; and three brothers: Bob Norman of Arizona, Jack Norman of Alabama, and Bill Norman of Cedarburg, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Ruth Coleman.
The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 8, 2003, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 209 South Allen Street, Appleton, with Pastor Ray Claussen officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cherry Meadows Hospice for their wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
