LaRoy A. Lutzow

Age 84, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2001 at St. Paul Home. LaRoy was born in Appleton on July 11, 1917, son of the late Reinhold and Clara (Schmalz) Lutzow. On April 26, 1941, he married the former Grace Walsh in Kaukauna; she survives. LaRoy was employed for over forty years by Thilmany Pulp and Paper as a machine supervisor, and retired in 1976. He was a member of the Quarter – Century Club and the Thilmany Management Club. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, C.B. radios, but above all he cherished time spent with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife: Grace Lutzow of Kaukauna; a son: Ed (Deborah) Lutzow of Weston; a daughter: Nancy Lutzow Smith of Kaukauna; four grandchildren: Andrew Lutzow of Neenah, Stephanie Lutzow of Neenah, Jenna Jansen of Wausau, and Stefani Jansen of Wausau; two great-grandchildren: Niclus and Jacob Jansen, both of Wausau; two sisters-in-law: Jean Lutzow of Kaukauna and Helen (Lorenz) Mayer of Kaukauna; a brother-in-law: Ralph (Mary) Walsh of Kaukauna. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Howard and Stanley Lutzow, and by Grace’s siblings Doris, Gladys, and Harold.

There will be no formal service; however, the family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 4 – 7 PM Thursday. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park.
