Age 18 of Highland Village TX, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Appleton. Passed away on Monday December 11, 2006.

Kyle was born in Appleton on June 19, 1988 to Jim and Kathy Strickler. He attended Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Marcus High School in Flower Mound, TX in 2006. He was a tenacious scholar with a wonderful sense of humor. Kyle loved golf, skiing, cars and diving. His friends were the most important part of his life.

Kyle will be missed by his parents Jim and Kathy, Highland Village; his brother, Travis, sisters Michele and Katie, Highland Village; his grandparents Georgia Strickler, Appleton; George and Jeanine Piotrowski, Appleton; his aunts, uncles and cousins, Peggy and Dutch Lawson of Mesa, AZ and their children Dutch, Kelsey and Abby; Dawn Ulman, Hortonville and her children Jeff and Stacey; David and Mary Strickler, Green Bay and their children Myles, Sarah, Taylor, Paul and Kayla; Bruce and Cathy Strickler, Green Bay and their children Philip, Paul and Patrick; Bob and Jenny Schimmelpfenning, Appleton and their children Chad, Nathan and Lucas. He is further survived by many friends. Kyle was preceded in death by his sister Jessica and his grandfather Jerrol Strickler.

Funeral services for Kyle will be held at 11 AM Saturday December 16 at the funeral home. Friends may call from 10 until 11 AM. A gathering of friends and family will be on Friday evening after 7 PM at Bob and Jenny’s 2406 Eric Dr. Appleton. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. A memorial fund is being established for the Bipolar Foundation in Kyle’s name.
We will miss his bright blue eyes and beautiful smile.
