Kristine Marie Tibbens “Tina”, age 60, peacefully passed away, following a brief illness, surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at AMC. Tina was born in New London, WI on October 30, 1962, daughter of Captain Bernard and Janis (Fredette) Elliott. Tina was united in marriage to the love of her life, Carl Tibbens, on March 23, 1990. He preceded her in death in 2018.
Tina held a variety of jobs over the years, from reception work to retail but the work that brought her the most joy was caretaking. She was the primary caretaker for her mother, Janis, for many years and raised 3 children. Tina’s love for caretaking inspired her to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) later in life and this calling brought her so much joy.
In the short 60 years that Tina graced this earth; she touched the hearts and inspired so many with her confidence, strength, and optimism. She loved to dance, sing, laugh, and decorate and host for every holiday. She loved lighthouses, ships, traveling and most of all, her family. She also loved to say “yes” to everything, especially when it came to her grandchildren. She lived a short but full life, surrounded by love.
Tina is survived by her children: Sabrina Kristine, Katrina (Pete) Dachelet, and Clayton (Checkie) Kloehn; her grandchildren: Connar Kloehn, Madalyne and Olivia Dachelet; her grand dogs: Lola and Lily, her mother-in-law Beverly Tibbens, her siblings: Michael (Marilyn) Elliott of Sequim, WA; Susan (Charles) Jalette of Appleton; Charles (Debra) Elliott of Appleton; Julie (Jerry) Sajbel of Fort Mill, SC; Kathleen “Kate” Pulido of New London; and Matt Elliott of Appleton; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews who lovingly refer to her as “Auntie”.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Mary Retzlaff, Bernie Elliott, and Kevin Elliott; brothers-in-law, Robert Retzlaff, Sr., Ron Jalette, and Rick Pulido.
