Kit Allen Kranz, age 62, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack, on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Kit was born October 4, 1955 in Neenah, Wisconsin to Robert and Clair (Ramthun) Kranz. He was a member of the Neenah Rockets football team and graduated from Neenah High School in 1974. Kit also attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Kit was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Terry. He is survived by his brother Robert (Jill) and nephew Edward, Middleton, his sister-in-law Diana, Green Bay, his niece Teri Lyn (Dan) Drella, Green Bay, and his nephew Eric (Nicole), Manitowoc.
He had warm relationships with his family, friends and neighbors and was a devoted Packer fan, music lover and pet owner. Kit had a life-long interest in technology and especially enjoyed learning about the latest developments in consumer electronics.
Kit was a hardworking employee with many years of experience in setup, training and knowledge of complex machine operations, including 28 years with National Envelope of Appleton, Wisconsin. At the time of his passing he was employed by WOW Logistics.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 5 pm to 7 pm with a remembrance service from 7 to 7:30 pm at Wichmann Funeral Home, Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha, Wisconsin. Notes of condolence may be sent c/o the Kranz family to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kit’s name can be made to: Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
