Kimberly Marie "Kim" Mazeikis

Kimberly M. Mazeikis, 47, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020, at home, with her family by her side. She was born on July 16, 1972, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Roger and Mary “Cathy” (Ponce) Mazeikis Sr. Kim will always be remembered for her giving and generous nature, being truly selfless, and a caregiver at heart. She loved children; and ran her own in-home day care for many years. Kimberly was fun loving, always happy and cheerful, even while battling thyroid and breast cancer. Kim was a wonderful mother and sister.

Kimberly is survived by her 4 children: Marco, Nadia, Kaleb, and Nathaniel Gavino; her mom: Cathy; 2 siblings: Venessa (Todd) Sonzo and Monica (Charles Robbins) Mazeikis; other relatives and friends.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her father and a brother: Roger Mazeikis Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm, on Friday, February 7, 2020, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton. Visitation will be on Friday at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the American Cancer Society in Kim’s name.
