Age 63, died unexpectedly, July 3, 2002. He was born November 6, 1938, to the late John and Irma (Hoffmann) Hamilton, in Appleton and had been an area resident all of his life. Ken served with the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He was an auto mechanic and service manager for for numerous auto service centers. Ken had been the former owner of Kozy Korner Tavern and started the HMK Sport Shop in 1978. Ken was active with the N. R. A., collecting cars, especially older Trans Ams. He taught judo and karate, enjoyed the outdoors, was active in many community events and active in many charities. Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. (Steinberg) Hamilton, to whom he had been married for 42 years; four sons and two daughters, David and Anna Hamilton, California; Diana and Hank Schaefer, Brillion; Bruce and Trudi Hamilton, Appleton; Brian and Carla Hamilton Kaukauna; Christi and Allen Satchwell, California; Craig Hamilton and his special friend, Sharon Baehman, Combined Locks; 10 grandchildren, Allen, Austin and Adelle Hamilton, Stephanie, Jennifer and Jayson Schaefer, Rose, Claire, Aaron and David Satchwell; a brother James Hamilton, Combined Locks. It was Kenneth’s request that there be no visitation or services. A memorial fund is being established.
