Kenneth E. Geiger, age 73, died peacefully at home January 22, 2021 with his wife and family at his side. He was born November 18, 1947 in Appleton the son of the late Kenneth A. and Constance (Steidl) Geiger. He was married on October 2, 1998 to his loving wife, Nancy. Ken worked 43 years until his retirement at American National Can where he made many lifelong friends. He particularly enjoyed spending time with all his grandkids whether on the play set they built in the back yard, watching them play sports or while out fishing.
Ken was a Packers and Brewers fan. He also loved to fish, especially with the kids and grandkids and loved to spend time in the garage or maintaining his impeccable lawn. When the garage door was open and he was out there, anyone stopping over was made to feel welcome. Ken got a lot of joy out of playing cards, being an excellent cribbage player who competed in many tournaments.
If there is one trait that stands out the most with Ken, it was that he would drop everything to help anyone at any time. Whether it was something easy or tough, you could always count on him.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; Marty (Kathy) Geiger, children Zack & Nathan; Jeff (Lisa) Geiger, children Justen (Kelsey) & Jordan; Ann (Chad) Pagel, children Dalton, Morgan, Keegan; Mike (Kathryn) Wegner, children Jakeinth & Kylie; Jeff Wegner; Tim (Chris) Van Cuyk, children Kelsey, Gavin & Violet; Troy (Amanda) Van Cuyk, children Mackenzie, Kendall, Jory & Kaeden; Tom Van Cuyk, child Jacob as well as 5 great grandchildren, many nieces, many nephews and many friends.
He is also survived by nine siblings; Roger (Betty) Geiger, Bonnie (Neal) Riesenweber, Ronnie (Barb Krepline) Geiger, John Geiger, Cheryl (Pat) Stingle, Mark (Sue) Geiger, Mike (Tracy) Geiger, Patti (Rich) Woods and Julie (Rick) Zwiers. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ricky Geiger.
Special thanks go out to the staff at ThedaCare Hospice for their kind and compassionate care during the final days of Ken’s life.
