Borden, Keith F.
Keith F. Borden, age 67, of Darboy, died Friday evening, May 26, 2006, following a 2 ½ year illness. He was born November 11, 1938 to William J. and Doris (Betters) Borden, in Menasha, moved to Neenah at the age of 3 and then moved to Appleton in 1960. Keith served with the U. S. Navy as a Seabee, from 1956 – 1959. He had been employed by Voith Papers, Inc. as Senior Vice President of Operations, retiring after 42 years. Keith loved fishing, his yard work, the Packers and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Barbara A. (Caldamone) Borden, to whom he had been married for 46 years; three children, Kevin (Julie) Borden, Allentown, PA; Brian (Wendy) Borden, Oregon, WI; Michele (Scott) Hietpas, Woodbury, MN; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie, Jonathan and Sarah Borden, Katie and Nicholas Borden, Michael, Jennifer, Megan, Mary and Jeffrey Hietpas; his mother, Doris Borden, Greenville; two brothers, Steve (Kim) Borden, Neenah; Terry Borden, Tennessee; three sisters, Janice (Tim) Menning, Burnsville, MN; Dianne (Gary) Roth, Neenah; Lois (Bill) Coan, Hortonville; a brother-in-law, John (Judy) Caldamone, Cranston, RI; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Caldamone, West Warwick, RI; Gloria Anzevino, West Warwick, RI; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William J. Borden, a brother, William Borden, Jr. and his in-laws, John and Ella Caldamone. The funeral liturgy for Keith will be held at 5:00 pm, Thursday, June 1, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 West Lawrence Street, with Father Larry Abler, OFM, Cap. officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 1:30 pm, Thursday, until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial funds have been established for Cherry Meadows Hospice and the American Cancer Society.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Martha Seikman Center, Dr. Anthony Phillips, Dr. Thomas Wascher, Valley VNA, especially Marcia and Shirley and the staff of Cherry Meadows Hospice.
You have set an outstanding example as a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. We love you and you will live in our hearts forever. Love your family.
