Keith A. Hauschel

Age 22, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 14, 2004. Keith was born in Appleton on March 22, 1981, the son of Maron and Vickie (Krueger) Hauschel of Kimberly. He was a graduate of Kimberly High School, and will be remembered as a talented basketball player there. He was currently attending the University of Wisconsin – Fox Valley, and enjoyed spending time with his many family members and friends.

Keith is survived by his parents: Maron and Vickie Hauschel of Kimberly; a brother: Jeff Hauschel of Kimberly; his maternal grandparents: Mike and Bev Krueger of Little Chute; his paternal grandfather: James Hauschel of Appleton; two aunts: Sharon (Jim) Jansen of Freedom and Michelle (Mark) Hopfensperger of Appleton; an uncle: Dale Hauschel of Cottage Grove; three cousins: Scott (Jodi) Thomack, Chad Thomack, and Heather Hopfensperger; and by a special friend, Kendra.

Keith's life was taken from him tragically, but he loved his family more than life itself. We will always remember our Sunday night meals with him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog Fluffy, loved playing basketball for Kimberly High School, and will always be remembered for his great personality and his love for his family and friends. He had many friends too numerous to mention, but his brother Jeff was his "best friend". He will be greatly missed.

A funeral liturgy outside of mass will be held at 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Holy Name Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the service. A memorial fund has been established in Keith's name.

The family would like to extend their special thanks to the staff of the Kimberly High School and to his special friend Kendra. We will hold the many good memories in our hearts forever, and know that he is now with Grandma Hauschel and his great-grandparents Gerald and Edith Riley.
