Kathryn I. McCartney

Age 81, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at the Appleton Medical Center. Kathryn was born December 8, 1921 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Oliver and Jessie (Rhode) Belland. She married George W. McCartney on June 26, 1945 in Oconto, Wisconsin. George preceded her in death on November 24, 1995. Survivors include two sons: David (Jane) McCartney of Hazel Green, Wisconsin and their daughters Misty, Brooke, and Kallie McCartney; and Mark (Chris) McCartney of Appleton and their children Ryan (Kelly) McCartney and Holly (Eric) Lawonn; and a brother: Norbert Belland of Manitowoc. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and two sisters. A private family service was held, with entombment following at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.

Kathryn will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Those she loved meant the world to her, and her memory will live on in their hearts forever.
