Age 62. Died Tuesday, February 17, 2004 of leukemia with her family at her side. Kathy was born on June 21, 1941 in Milwaukee, WI to James Whitehouse (deceased) and Dorothy (Waldman) Whitehouse. Kathy spent most of her childhood in Shawano and graduated from Shawano High School in 1959. She married Donald E. Warner in 1964 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano. Kathy derived great satisfaction from taking care of her home and family. She generously volunteered her time tutoring English as a Second Language. Further, Kathy loved traveling with Don, outdoor activities, golfing, needlework, and her dogs, Mandy and Lacy. Kathy was proud to be a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenville, WI.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Don; five children: Karen (Cary) Kottke of Grafton, WI, Stephen (Michelle) of St. Paul, MN, John of Madison, WI, Joan (Travis) Dolence of Knoxville, TN, Janet Warner of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren, with the arrival of a seventh grandchild anticipated in 2004. Kathy is also survived by two brothers: John Whitehouse of Shawano, WI and Donald Whitehouse of Menasha, WI; and three sisters: Carol Busey of Appleton, WI, Chris Leischer of Watertown, WI, and Janet Bergner of Appleton, WI.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2004, at ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Greenville, with Fr. John Zickert officiating. Friends will be received at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Thursday, February 19, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Robert Geller and his staff at Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology and to the nurses and staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital, 4 South.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kathy’s name are being established for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and for Literacy Education Services.
