Kathleen A. Zemblowski

Kathleen J. Zemblowski, age 96, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at her residence surrounded by family.

She was born on November 24, 1923 in Appleton to the late Fred and Kathryn (Wagner) Meyer. Following her graduation from Appleton West High School, she was united in marriage to Cyprian ‘Bud’ Zemblowski at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton, on August 11, 1951 and was blessed with two wonderful sons. Kathleen was a devoted Catholic and Charter Member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.

In her spare time, Kathleen enjoyed reading, avidly following sports, cooking and crosswords. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Bud; her sons, Steven (Sue) and Paul (Leslie); grandchildren, Blair, Chloe, and Grant; great-grandson, Daxton; many other dear family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Milton Meyer.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Kathleen at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St., Appleton, WI 54911. Family and friends may visit at the church from 9 AM until the time of mass. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton at 2:30 PM.
