Kathleen A. "Kathy" Fuhrmann

Kathleen “Kathy” A. Fuhrmann, age 77, of Little Chute, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015. She was born on May, 31, 1938 in Thiensville, Wisconsin to the late Raymond and Eleanora (Padden) Hilty.
She is a graduate of Shorewood High School and Dr. Martin Lutheran College of New Ulm, Minnesota, where she received her bachelor's degree.
She married the love of her life Verlyn on June 6, 1964 at Trinity Lutheran Church in West Mequon, and together they were blessed with their two children, Steven and Colleen.
Kathy taught at Mount Calvary School in Kimberly for over thirty-eight years. She was an active member of St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she played organ for nearly 60 years and would also lead choir. Kathy had many talents and was always willing to help others.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Verlyn; her two children, Steven and Colleen (Adam) Heindel; her two grandchildren, Logan and Samantha Heindel; her sister, Margaret (Wilbur) Vick and her sister-in-law; Margene (Richard) Oldenberg.
In addition to her parents and in-laws Kathy was preceded in death by her infant brother, Clark; her special aunt, Anita Hoffmann; special cousin, Ann Scultz and her foster sister-in-law and dear friend, Pat Kiesow.
The funeral service for Kathy will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at ST. LUKE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 705 E. GREENFIELD DRIVE, LITTLE CHUTE with the Rev. Ronald Szep officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the church starting at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
Interment will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery in the Town of Caledonia, Wisconsin.
