Kathy Brautigam

Katherine A. (Kathy) Brautigam, age 78 of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 9, 2022.  She was born August 31, 1944, to the late Vincent and Katherine (Young) Jones.  Kathy married Mike Brautigam on December 14, 1968, and they had two children.

She was an incredible lady who loved her family, and friends with all her heart.  An amazing cook and baker, she loved playing card games with the family, had a fantastic sense of humor, was a shoulder to lean on for so many and had a heart of gold.  Her greatest love of all was her husband of 53 years, Mike.  Kathy and Mike were not just husband and wife, they were inseparable best friends.  The love and bond they shared was above all.

One of the most loyal and hard-working people you would ever find, Kathy enjoyed the social aspect of her jobs and stayed busy working as a pharmacy technician.  In her leisure, she loved to read, play cards, and followed the Badgers and Brewers closely.

Kathy will be dearly missed by her husband Mike, daughter Kelley, son Chad and daughter-in-law Erin; her grandchildren Hannah and Hayden Scott, Tyler, Ryan, and Ethan Brautigam; her siblings Tom Jones, Marge Schreiter, Mary Jones, and Nancy Courter and extended in-law family on the Brautigam side.

A visitation will be held for Kathy on Friday, November 18^th from 2-5pm at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N Superior St, Appleton, WI 54911.
