Karlon “Karl” Abraham Krieck, 91, of Appleton, died Saturday morning, November 15, 2008 at Brewster Village.
Karl was born August 1, 1917 to Walter and Mae (Steltzer) Krieck in Mishicot, WI. Karl served in the US Army during WWII. On October 11, 1941 Karl and June Porlier were united in marriage in Appleton. Karl was in a local business man who owned and operated Krieck Furs with his two brothers Gil and Kerm. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife, June, Karl is survived by a daughter, Jan Lane of Las Vegas, NV; three grandsons, Christopher (Marinne) Lane of Las Vegas, NV, Tony Lane of Washington, and Greg Lane of California; three great-granddaughters, Kiani, Miele, and Savanna; and a special nephew George Porlier; and other relatives and friends.
Karl is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gil and Kerm Krieck.
In Honoring Karl's wishes there will be no services.
Karl's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers at Brewster Village, and especially the staff at Heritage Manor for their care and support.
Karl's wife will always remember Karl as being a wonderful husband and father. He will be dearly missed.
