Karen Palmbach

Karen S. Palmbach, age 51, of Appleton, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016. She was born on September 19, 1965 in Appleton to John and Susan (Krake) Brinkman. Karen graduated in 1983 from Appleton West High School. In her later years she attended Rasmussen College and earned her nursing degree. Before working as a traveling nurse Karen was employed with Hoffmaster.

Karen attended St. John Evangelical Church. In her earlier years she enjoyed playing on bowling and golf leagues. She always took an opportunity to travel whenever possible. Karen was known for finding “treasures” at rummage sales and a soft spot for animals, especially her dogs Mika and Maggie. Above all Karen's fondest memories where those with her grandbabies.

Karen is survived by her two loving children, Travis (Brooke) Palmbach and Shanon (Drew) Price; her two grandchildren, Chloe Elizabeth Price and Carter Jayce Palmbach. She is further survived by her mother, Susan Brinkman and two brothers. Karen also leaves behind several dear friends whom she enjoyed their company and spending time with.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Brinkman and her infant son, John.
