DAVID, KAREN J.
Karen David, age 59, of Oak Creek, died on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Zilber Family Hospice, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Karen was born on August 23, 1947, in Appleton to the late Roy and Marie (Hintz) Kahler. For over 30 years Karen was a surgical technician for Aurora. She enjoyed reading and was well-known as a lover of animals, especially her dogs and cats. Survivors include her daughters, Megan (Thomas) Lingle, Milwaukee, and Ellen David, Oak Creek; her sisters, Mary Ann VerBockel, Appleton, and Janice (Richard) Kitzke, Port Richey, Florida; and her brother, Kenneth (Sharon) Kahler, Crestview, Florida. She is further survived by her aunt Verna (Don) McGlin; her uncle Herbert Kahler; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard David. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2007, at Star of Hope Chapel at HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK, 3131 North Richmond Street, Appleton, with Rev. Dale Reckzin officiating. Friends may call directly at the cemetery chapel on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. A memorial has been established in her name.
