Appleton - June Scherer passed away February 9, 2024, after a brief illness with her family present. June was born June 16, 1933 in Denganwy, North Wales to Joseph (Margaret Jones) Roberts. June had two sisters Erlisse, and Josie.

She met her first husband Harry Olson, when he was stationed at a US Airforce base Wales in 1953. She had two children, Anita and Mark Olson.

Before her retirement, June worked as a committee/research clerk for 20 years in the Wisconsin Legislature.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, and furry grand-babies Jake Hayden.

June is survived by her daughter Anita and son Mark (Lori) Olson, and furry grand-baby Winston.

Anita, Mark and Lori would like to express their appreciation to Theda Care Hospice their support during mom's final journey.

There was a private viewing and no memorial service.

Mom will be missed dearly.
