Age 78, passed away on March 17, 2001 at Appleton Medical Center.
June was born on August 25, 1922 to Lawrence and Pearl Douglas. June married Julius “Tony” Bosmans on October 11, 1947 and they enjoyed 49 years together. She was employed by the Village of Kimberly as a crossing guard for Holy Name School for 17 years.
June loved taking care of her flower gardens, enjoyed life, and loved being around people.
June is survived by 2 sons, Anthony (Sheila) Bosmans, Appleton; Ted Lanz, Milwaukee; four daughters, Sandy (Richard) Clark, Freewater, OR; Patricia (Richard) Ratzman, Kaukauna; Susan (Jay) Wildenberg, Combined Locks; and Charlene (Kevin) Krueger, Kimberly; 12 grandchildren, Leanette Holzschuh, Sheila Van Handel, Candy Olson, Joe Wildenberg, Clint Wildenberg, Shad Bosmans, Mike Bosmans, Melinda Bosmans; eight great-grandchildren and three sisters, Audrey Wydeven, Appleton; Gerri Belongia, Gresham; and Judy (Kenneth) Verhoven, Combined Locks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius “Tony”, a son, Kenneth Richard, a brother, Buddy Douglas, and a sister, Faye Gerrits.
The funeral liturgy will be on Wednesday March 21, 2001 at 8:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Wayne Carey officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the time of service (8:00PM). Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
