Age 77, passed away on Saturday January 20, 2001 at Outagamie County Health Care Center following a short illness. She was born on June 8, 1923 in Milwaukee the daughter of the late Walter and Viola (Krahn) Buchholz. On October 24, 1942 she married the late James H. Deuchars in Milwaukee. She has been an Appleton resident for nearly 30 years. She retired as an insurance adjuster from Integrity Mutual Insurance Company. She was a member of Our Saviours Lutheran Church, loved to travel; especially Hawaii. Her greatest love was her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter Jill (William) Roznowski of Appleton and their son Joshua of South Carolina, and their daughter Amy of Green Bay, her grandson James D. Deuchars of Milwaukee, and a daughter-in-law Karen (Bob) Calhoun of Waukesha, a sister-in-law Shirley Buchholz of Neshkoro, WI; a sister-in-law Lorraine Deuchars of Milwaukee; several nieces and nephews; two great nieces Kayla Buchholz and Arianna Hilber; and a great nephew Colton Parsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son James D. Deuchars, her brother Donald Buchholz, and a sister Marlyn Hilber.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 24, 2001 at 11:00 AM at OUR SAVIOURS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3009 North Meade Street with the Rev. Dennis Ellisen officiating. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of the services. A memorial fund is being established.
