Lee, Julia P.
Julia P. “Judy” Lee, age 99, of Appleton, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2005, at the Peabody Manor. She was born November 26, 1905, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Letendre) Peloquin. She married Manley Lee on June 14, 1929. He preceded her in death. Judy was an elementary schoolteacher, and assisted her husband in the family business, the former Oaks Candy Shop.
Survivors include her two daughters, Nancy (James) Kuebler, of Appleton, and Roberta (Lee) Huberty, of Naples, Fla; there are nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; and a sister, Emma Ehlke, of Appleton. Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Ollie Rae LeMay, two sisters, Lucy Gilbert and Bernadette Monarski, and four brothers, Homer, Edward, Francis, and Wilfred Peloquin.
The memorial liturgy for Judy will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 20, 2005, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 213 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton. The Rev. William Hoffman will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Appleton. The family will greet friends from 9:30 A.M. Thursday until the time of services at the church. Memorials in Judy’s name may be sent to Peabody Auxiliary, 2500 Heritage Woods Dr., Appleton, 54915.
