Judy Ann Smits

Judy Smits, age 56, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2006 at Brewster Village. Judy was born in Kaukauna on October 11, 1950, daughter of the late Floyd and Mildred (Pollack) Cotter. As a young woman, she married Richard Smits; Dick preceded her in death in 2003. Judy had been employed by Pechman’s in Kaukauna as well as Banta Packaging. Judy was a loving woman who always had an upbeat personality, and who always welcomed visitors in her home. She will be missed by those that knew and loved her. They include her son: Todd A. Smits, who is stationed with the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Virginia; a brother-in-law: James Smits of Appleton; and an uncle: Albert Pollack of Kaukauna. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, Richard.

The family will gather to share memories of Judy on Thursday, December 14, 2006, at the Fargo Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Judy will be buried next to her husband at Holy Cross Cemetery in Kaukauna.
