Judith K. "Judi" Slagle

SLAGLE, JUDITH K.

Judi Slagle, of Greenville, age 49, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. She was born on October 12, 1958 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Ted and Betty (Garber) Bangart. Judi graduated in 1976 from Black River Falls High School and UW-La Crosse majoring in Political Science. On October 8, 1988 she married Thomas Slagle at Evangelical Lutheran Church, Black River Falls. Judi was an avid outdoors person and enjoyed hiking, horseback riding and her dogs. She was very spiritual and looked forward to Bible study and enjoyed dancing. Judi loved surrounding herself with people, especially spending time with her family and friends.

Judi is survived by her loving husband: Tom Slagle, Greenville; her precious children: Sam and Jessica Slagle; her dear mother: Betty Zibolski, Black River Falls; dear brothers: Ron Bangart, Black River Falls; Rick Bangart, Black River Falls and Rob (Suzette) Bangart, Wausau; special nieces and nephews: Dustin Bangart; Robbie, Rebecca and Hannah Bangart. She is further survived by other relatives and many friends. Judi was preceded in death by her father Ted Bangart and step-father Jared Zibolski.

The memorial service for Judi will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 4, 2008 at EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 115 N. 5th Street, Black River Falls with Rev. Eric Bakken officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to ThedaCare at Home Hospice appreciated.
