Judith ''Judy'' Sievert

Age 63, died Wednesday, January 15, 2003. Judy was born on February 25, 1939, in Appleton, to Harold and Doris (Babcock) Brooks. She married Larry Sievert on September 4, 1971, in Appleton. Judy was a unique, fun-loving person who was well-known for her bubbly personality. She was a selfless, warmhearted, soul who brought humor and passion to her entire family and her friends. Judy embraced life and truly knew how to live. Throughout her illness Judy never complained, put the needs of others before her own and was confident in God’s plan for her. Survivors include her father, Harold Brooks, Appleton; husband of 31 years, Larry; her daughters, Stacy Sievert, Shorewood, Wisconsin, and Kristy Sievert, Combined Locks; her sister, Lynn (Mike) Stearns, Darboy; her brothers, David (Mary) Brooks, Appleton, and Danny (Shirley) Brooks, Appleton. She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother Bruce. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to her supportive family and friends, her physicians and their staffs. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 North Superior Street, Appleton, with Chaplain Cathie Vander Velden officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.
