Judith “Judy” Ann (White) Bartz, age 92, passed away on February 16, 2024. She was born to Ted and Anita White in Appleton Wi on February 16, 1932. She grew up in Appleton and was the youngest of three children. She graduated from Appleton High School and attended one year of business school. Judy met Roy Bartz when he returned on leave from the Army. On June 22, 1957, she and Roy were married. The couple welcomed sons Thomas, Steven, and David to the fold, and they raised their family in Neenah.
Judy was a social butterfly and loved getting out to see her friends often. Adventures to share breakfast with her retired colleagues were top of her list. Her family was always a focal point for her, and she loved to spend time camping with her children and grandchildren.
A skilled baker, she always filled the pockets of her children and grandchildren with cookies, and the “wacky cake” was a favorite at any family gathering. Reading was also a passion for Judy, and she liked to read all genres, although she had a penchant for the mysteries.
Judy is survived by her three sons: Tom (Cindy), Steven and David (Cheryl); grandchildren: Nate (Jess), Chris (Samantha), Angela, Andrew (Misty) and Alex. In addition, there are 7 great grandchildren who will miss her cookies and hugs: Maverick, Riley, Joslyn, Laney, Kaiden, Freya, and Rory. She is further survived by many cousins, family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Roy, her daughter in law Sally; her parents and her siblings Richard and Robert White.
